Alana Allison

I am a highly motivated and hardworking designer with a Bachelor of Interior Design (Commercial) at Billy Blue College of Design (Torrens University).

 

During my studies, I have developed an extensive range of skills and knowledge that has allowed me to produce professional, high quality solutions to design briefs and problems. My work is driven by innovative design thinking and the importance of having a holistic approach to each project. 

 

Previously completing two years of a Bachelor of Integrated Product Design at UTS, I thoroughly enjoyed learning about human centred design and the impact it can have on one’s every day life. Transferring to Interior Design (Commercial), I feel I have found my true passion for discovering the effect everyday spaces can have on people, their physical and mental health, and how they interact with others. 

 

I have a strong passion for using my creative mind to design a more sustainable society for future generations. Selecting eco-friendly materials, utilising ESD principles and creating spaces that have a low environmental impact are vitally important to my design sensibilities.
